Yes stupidity , why else would Mahmoud Abbas say this .

    and this-
"I call on the Israeli government to halt its aggression so the necessary environment can be created to make negotiations succeed, for us and for them, to reach the shores of peace in 2008," Abbas said.
   what about the Palestinian aggression ? 
Common sense would dictate to you that when you randomly fire Neanderthol style rockets into another country , you might be subject to retaliation !
    Israel has the right to defend itself against this pathetic display of brutality from hammas !
    And for Abbas to act like his country has done nothing to provoke these attacks , is purely assinine !
    maybe the U.S. should give up on all this peace talk b.s. , the Palestinians just do not want peace , and Israel can handle itself  , so why be involved anymore?    Its the never ending dilemma of the middle east !
       just plain pitiful !
